About Me

I received my bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I have 2 boys 18 and 20 years old. My 20-year-old son has Autism, ADHD and PANDAS. I have over 13 years of personal experience, working through the IEP advocacy journey for my son, the community and many families over the years.

Being a special needs parent allows me to connect to my clients, to the community at another level and to be their educational consultant. Through our personal journey, I have learned the do’s and don’ts and the importance of the IEP process.

I am an active special needs parent in my community. Each year, I attend a variety of webinars and conferences to continue to learn and educate myself on the new processes, in order to better guide my clients through their educational journey.

I implemented the first Gluten/Dairy Free Lunch Menu at District 204. In 2009, I proposed this idea to the district and this was implemented. This GF/DF lunch menu still continues.
