About Me

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I have  2 boys 14 and 16 years old. My 16 year old son has Autism, ADHD and PANDAS. I have over 10 years of personal experience, working through the IEP advocacy journey for my son, the community and many families over the years.

Being a special needs parent allows me to connect to my clients, to the community at another level and to be their educational consultant. Through our personal journey, I have learned the do’s and dont’s and the importance of the IEP process.

I am an active special needs parent in my community. Each year, I attend a variety of webinars and conferences to continue to learn and educate myself on the new processes, in order to better guide my clients through their educational journey.

* I have served as the District (204) Wide Special Needs PTA President.
* I implemented the first Gluten/Dairy Free Lunch Menu at District 204. In 2009, I proposed this idea to the district and this was implemented. This GF/DF lunch menu still continues.
* I worked on numerous large Autism Conferences in our area.
When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to travel.
My passion, is helping special needs families by providing them with resources, events and networking opportunities.
