I received my Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I have a 14 year old son with Autism & ADHD. I have many years of personal experience, working through the IEP advocacy journey for my son. Being a special needs parent allows me to connect to my clients, to the community and to be their educational consultant. Through our personal journey, I have learned the do's and dont's and the importance of the IEP process.
I am an active special needs parent in my community. Each year, I attend a variety of webinars and conferences to continue to learn and educate myself on the new processes, in order to better guide my clients through their educational journey.
* I have served as the District (204) Wide Special Needs PTA President.
* I implemented the first Gluten/Dairy Free Lunch Menu at District 204. In 2009, I proposed this idea to the district and this was implemented. This GF/DF lunch menu still continues.
* I worked on numerous large Autism Conferences in our area.
When I'm not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to travel.
My passion, is helping special needs families by providing them with resources, events and networking opportunities.
